In short, I am... James Brown.
In 2007, as a freelance filmmaker and artist, I began Branch Out Media in order to produce a film called "Msanii: Artists of Bagamoyo". Since then I have continued to work through the company collaborating with other filmmakers to take on a variety of projects. Branch Out Media still largely facilitates my freelance work. My mission with the company is to continue to produce high quality film and art at every stage of production. This Jack-of-all-trades approach affords me the most growth and versatility as an artist and keeps my creative energy high. As an independent with low overheads and a bare-bones kit I offer a quality product at an affordable price. Amongst Branch Out Media's growing list of clients are: The Human Rights Commission, Myspace, Random House, Draft FCB, Occassional Productions, The Learning Connexion and The Haemophilia Foundation of NZ. While Branch Out Media takes on any and all varieties of film projects I am personally interested in projects to do with the arts and humanitarian issues, I appreciate that these fields are often working to a tight budget and I am always interested in what I can contribute at a reduced cost. Hope you enjoy browsing the site - web design is not my forte, but I thought I'd give it a go... feel free to contact me with any questions.
